• (Tabadul ) launches the second stage of the government competition the beginning of next year

    The Saudi Company for Electronic Data Interchange Launches  (Tabadul) for the second  stage  of the government electronic competitions on January 2017, which includes new initiatives, the most important E-catalog requests, prices offers, and electronic  analysis, and the receipt and payment for government purchases.. considering that the first stage was launched in 2014
        
    Explained that, the gate competitions and e-government purchases  in the company Engineer Nasser bin Abdullah Al Darsoni in a meeting with a number of businessmen on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in Asharqia Chamber. The catalog mail, a system that helps institution owners, whether institutions or commercial companies to display their goods and services through an electronic site automatically and control prices, as well making special promotions on a range of goods as the system allows them to interact with government agencies
        
    He said that Tabadul company has provided a mechanism that is shown in the competition system as targeted and orders the service of the issuing of bank guarantees for competitions, and the  government agencies  being linked with the banks directly to ensure security and complete other tasks such as the renewal or cancellation, verification and other services.

        Regarding the strategic exporting initiative adopted by the company in the coming stage he said that it is characterized by  planing purchases over the long term with access to competitive prices, and the search for more useful economic alternatives are also interested in the process of study and analysis of the exporters market, also spending analysis with references to prices of long term agreements.
        He noted that the company is launching an initiative (the follow up of projects) which provides follow up  of projects and indicators of performance and  observing costs of service, to provide a detailed vision on the status of the project, also it is possible follow its briefs and the completed  tasks.
    He said that the project aims at automating competition and government  purchase system, standardization of procedures and processes of government purchase and establishing  a unified standard system, and modernization of procedures and business models to enhance the effectiveness of the  purchase and contracting processes in light of competition and government procurement system to increase performance, quality, and improve operations. Aldersoni said that the project is looking forward to the improvement and activation of  an added value exports chain and  imports and direct purchase and financial services, and to increase the economic returns through the provision of time, effort and costs, reducing waste and losses, stressing the importance of cooperation and continuous communication, participation and exchange of data and information between government authorities, and the private sector, to enhance the spirit of justice and transparency and contribute to the fight against financial and administrative corruption, pointing that the beneficiaries of the project are the government authorities and suppliers and the Finance Ministry. He pointed that the Ministry of Finance plays a major role in controlling and adjusting purchasing activities in government  authorities, as administrative units working in the ministry in a level of competition operations to adjust, review and approve the activities linked with the purchase include budget and financial control, public accounts, the legal department and the Committee consider the compensation, and regarding  the direct purchase of units each with a list of suppliers at the national level, the formulating of laws for the purchase regulations, he also mentioned that the number of government authorities dealing with the competition system(within the project) $ 124 governmental  authority in the current year compared to 93 in the past year, and one two years ago, and the number of companies that have been trained over the past two years amounted to 156 out of 173 government authorities, while The number of beneficiaries of system are 12326 resource, and the number of competitions available through the system in 2034 general competitions, while the total number of processes purchase is 2236, though Tabadul company is moving to the participation of all government  authorities by the end of this year,  He explained that the company is linked with the rating agency at the Ministry of municipal and rural Affairs and  regarding giving the opportunity to companies wishing to compete in the competetions system.
